URI Bay Campus

To URI Undergraduate Students Interested in Opportunities at the URI Narragansett Bay Campus for Summer 2016 (and Fall 2016):

A number of groups at the URI Graduate School of Oceanography offer volunteer and paid employment opportunities, as well as for-credit internships, for URI undergraduate students to assist with a wide variety of research, education, outreach, development, engagement, and administrative projects and activities based at the URI Narragansett Bay Campus. Each semester and summer GSO scientists and outreach professionals hire more than two dozen undergrads to work with them on their projects.

If you are interested in opportunities at the URI Bay Campus for the Summer 2016 and/or Fall 2016 semester, please complete this online "Expression of Interest" form, attach your resume, and submit using the button at the bottom of the form. Students of all majors are welcome — marine biology, natural resource sciences, geosciences, engineering, marine affairs, fisheries, environmental economics, journalism/communications, film studies/digital art, computer science, business, etc.

Please remember to resubmit an updated Expression of Interest form and resume prior to the beginning of each semester and summer period.

Questions, call 401-874-6211.

Note: Submitting a completed "Expression of Interest" form and a resume does not guarantee an employment or internship offer. However, your interest does provide faculty and staff at the URI Bay Campus with information about your interests and availability for the current period (Summer and Fall 2016 semester). You will be contacted directly by Bay Campus faculty or staff if they wish to speak with you regarding your interests and potential job or internship openings.
