Metcalf Institute Communications Internship
This internship is available to one URI undergraduate student for the Summer 2016 and one for the Fall 2016 semester.

The Metcalf Institute Communications Intern will assist the staff in promoting its programs and recruiting applicants. The intern will learn and develop applied marketing, outreach and communication skills; interact with professional journalists; practice strategic social media and multimedia skills; and learn how communication training is designed and implemented at Metcalf Institute.

​This is an On-Campus Student Employment (OCSE) opportunity at the University of Rhode Island.     ​

Qualifications
The Metcalf Communications Intern must be academically responsible; computer literate (we are an all-Mac office); have strong, demonstrable written and interpersonal communication skills; have working knowledge of social media; be detail-oriented; and must have own transportation.

Internship Periods and Credits
The Metcalf Institute Development Internship is offered for one intern per semester. The Intern may register for the number of credits and work the credit hours per week that fits his/her academic program needs. Visit http://web.uri.edu/career/ for more information.
