SUMMARY:

The role of a Marketing Intern is, generally, to provide assistance to Marketing Specialists (MS) and Marketing Coordinators (MC) in the day-to-day management of AAA’s internal clients, and to develop entry-level advertising agency Account Coordinator skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
:

• Generally provide assistance to the Marketing Services team for assigned Clients, in the day-to-day management of accounts.
• Gathers and assembles background information and analytic reports, as needed by MS/MC in development of briefs, etc.
• Provides administration and assistance to senior marketing staff on day-to-day activities for assigned clients, including opening and closing projects using the Workamajig agency management system; responding to client phone calls; handling mail/packages, Production and Creative deadlines, media placements, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow.
• Provides input in planning stage as requested by MS/MC. Assists in mailings, transcribing agendas and meeting minutes, contact reports, proposals, correspondence and other materials relating to account service, and makes ready for client presentations.
• Handles paperwork and maintains files on client activities, their competitors and the industry; maintains client correspondence file, approvals, copy, forms/documents, supplies for daily processing and tracking of account service work, etc.
• Is responsible for proofreading copy; helps ensure all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients or turned over to suppliers.
• Handles and distributes client mail to assigned MS/MC.
• Orders office supplies for the team.
• Complete one special project, as needed and as assigned by MS/MC team.
