Leadership for a Future (LFAF) Accepting Applicants for their Leadership Development Program

 Due January 11th, 2017


The Institute for Labor Studies and Research are currently accepting applications for their Leadership for a Future (LFAF) Program. This is a leadership development program for emerging and established leaders of diverse backgrounds coming from different labor unions, community groups, and religious traditions. The program focuses on teaching the economic and political history of Rhode Island through the lens of social justice and teaches participants community organizing skills. Over the course of the program participants using skills from the program to implement a Community Action Project (CAP) creating positive social change in their own communities. This is a competitive program application project with applications due January 11th, 2017. Below is a link to the online application.
