UNFI - IT Security Administration

Our internship program offers a project based learning opportunity and includes a full day orientation, formal networking event, and a capstone final presentation to showcase your experience.

We are currently is seeking a paid Summer/Fall Intern for our Security Administration Department.  The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

Project Experience:
Assist with user access terminations that reside on the UNFI Network including business applications and file servers.  Compile master access list to aid in the accurate removal of terminated user’s access.  Perform system clean up, verify account removals. 

Job Functions:
·       Disable separated associate accounts to the UNFI Domain using established procedures
·       Assist with maintenance of documentation supporting all applicable job responsibilities
·       Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
·       Keen attention to detail
·       Must be discreet with highly confidential information
·       Basic understanding of physical and logical access control
·       Basic understanding of the Microsoft Windows Domain Environment.
·       Working knowledge of menu driven and command line driven access control for systems including VMS, UNIX, AS/400, etc.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (32 hours)

Wage/ Salary: $14
