Our internship program offers a project based learning opportunity and includes a full day orientation, formal networking event, and a capstone final presentation to showcase your experience.

We are currently seeking a paid Summer Intern for Branding & Communications. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the B & C team in research/analysis/insights, developing strategy for the collaboration laboratory and the execution of various branded projects.

Project Experience:
Branding & Communications is all about storytelling. We work across the company to make sure that our brand is consistent through our communications, visual language and content. Develop an understanding of how brand elements work – spend time with our writers and designers, develop strategic frameworks that help us connect people and ideas – tap into our audience and develop insights and recommendations that help guide projects and the brand.

Job Functions:
  • Discover unique, unexpected insights and stories / trends – identify opportunities for learning that can add value for our clients/customers in the world of “food”
  • Assist VP in developing the UNFI collaboratory (collaboration laboratory) a space without walls (digital) and the creative process where people work together to generate solutions
  • Develop discussion guides and facilitate focus groups, interviews, surveys, customer segmentation studies, etc. that can inform and move forward our brand/business


Requirements:
·       Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Consumer Insights / Communications
  • Writing, proofing, editing, research capabilities, ability to deliver insights and effectively present information along with strong visual communications abilities

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 5:00 (32 hours) 8 weeks

Wage/ Salary: $14
