to showcase your experience.
We are currently seeking a paid Summer Intern for our Information Technology Department. The selected candidate will be responsible
for assisting the Sr. Director of Application Development with enhancing the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) here at UNFI.
Project
Experience:
Learn about the
building and implementation of a best in class software development process
that incorporates multiple methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile). Work with the team to identify and drive
efficiencies as well as help build out requirements for automation, testing,
and training for the development staff. A Capstone presentation at
the end will give you the opportunity to showcase what you have learned during
the internship to your peers, your managers, and your professors.
Job Functions:

Participate in IT requirement gathering, design,
and testing
·
Assist in gathering IT related documentation and
coordinating with individuals to provide updates
·
Assist in developing training material and
providing training to IT members
Requirements:
·
Self-disciplined individual who can work
independently and in a group to gather requirements and synthesize large
amounts of information
·
Understand the software development lifecycle: the process of requirements gathering,
design, development, and testing
·
Willing to learn and be coached in a fast paced
business environment
·
Pursuing a degree in Information Technology or
related field
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00
(32 hours) 8 Weeks
Wage/ Salary: $14
