Summary:
The Consumer & Residential Lending Intern
will assist with projects, audits, loan origination system and administrative
tasks. The goal is to give students a
strong understanding of residential/consumer lending department functions and
the various roles within the department.
The project scope will be wide and encompass many projects and aspects
of the daily operations within the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Update applicable systems for credit scores
· Scanning paid loans then shredding paid files
· Testing/review/input for new Loan System
· Assist with annual escrow analysis
· Review of
mortgage notes, HELOC notes/documentation and loan to value promotions
· System scrub for FDIC call report codes, all
fields and reports tied to those fields
· Creation of new master loan servicing input
sheet
· System scrub for Insurance policy tracking
clean-up
· Quarterly flood report review for removal of
paid loans
Qualifications:
·
Currently
pursuing a degree in Business preferably in Finance.
·
Excellent
verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
·
Detail
orientated with an ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and
documentation
·
Proficient
with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Scheduling
and Availability:
·
Must be available to work 38 hours per week during normal
business hours.
