DXL - Internships
DXL Group is actively seeking candidates for our summer
internship program in our Canton, MA home office. We offer dynamic internships
that provide “real world” business experience with a national, multi-million
dollar retail company. You will work alongside seasoned business professionals,
attend department meetings, and assist with special projects and day-to-day
responsibilities. You will be a true member of the team, contributing
meaningful work while learning the business. You’re going to love working here
and many of our internships even lead to full-time career opportunities!
The details:

Internships typically last for 10
weeks (early June thru mid-August)
·
Interns work 20-25 hours per week
·
All internships are PAID
We have intern openings in the
following areas: Textile, Fashion
Merchandising, & Design, Retail Supply Chain Management, Product
Development/Sourcing, Industrial Engineering, IT, Business Administration,
Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Graphic Design / Digital Media, and Communications.
Candidates are considered for
internship positions based on their field of study, interests, qualifications,
and our business needs. When applying, you must specify your area of interest
in your cover letter. NOTE: Students must make arrangements to live in the area over
the summer and must have reliable means of getting to our office.

Summary:
The Jr
Business Analyst Intern will assist with projects of various scope and size and
assist with daily tasks within the department.
At the conclusion of the Internship
the student should have obtained a strong grasp of daily banking operations and
support. In addition, the intern should
be proficient in the end to end management of a project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist with projects of various scope and size that require
some level of project management support
· Make recommendations for
streamlining procedures, improving efficiencies and identify cost savings
opportunities
· Analyze business data / requirements
and provide the findings in a concise and intuitive report to the Management
Team
· Formally present findings and recommendations to the
Management Team and other impacted parties
Qualifications:
·
Actively pursuing a bachelors or
master degree; preferably in business administration
·
Excellent
verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
·
Detail
oriented with an ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and
documentation
·
Proficient
with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
Scheduling
and Availability:

Must be available to work 15 to 20 hours per week

Marketing Intern
Summary: The Marketing department is responsible for the
management of the Bank’s communications efforts across various channels and
mediums. The intern will assist the department with the creation and alignment
of communications, both internal and external, to ensure all information is
accurate and distributed to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. The position serves as an introduction to a career in marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate across departments in the coordination and execution of all bank-wide events
· Assist with the day-to-day marketing
functions of the Bank including project management, content generation, and collateral
development
· Provide updates to the Bank’s website and
social media platforms
· Gain exposure to and interact with
associated marketing agency
· Collaborates on and supports
administration activities as needed
· Performs other related duties as
required and assigned
Qualifications:

Summary: The Human Resources Intern
assists the HR team with performing HR-related duties on a professional level.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
employee relations, performance management, recruitment, benefits and file
maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs customer service
functions by responding to employee questions and requests
- Supports administration of
compensation and performance management programs
- Assists with updating job
descriptions and job postings, creating and revising as needed
- Assists in administration of
employee relations activities
- File review and scanning of all
personnel files creating automated file system
- Collaborates on and supports benefit
administration activities as needed
- Assists with coordination of employee appreciation week
- Assists with policy review and procedure development,
incorporating branding into HR communications
- Assists with grant writing for training initiatives
- Redesign of the Bank’s wellness program
- Create new job description template to include competencies;
convert all job descriptions into new template
- Build database to house job descriptions
- Performs other related duties
as required and assigned
Qualifications:

Knowledge
of HR principles and practices of personnel administration preferred.
·
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills required.
·
Advanced
skills/experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
required.
