Transportation Internship

Description of position/responsibilities:

  • Maintain Transportation E-mail/Fax box.  Distribute content to appropriate coordinators.
  • Review Sedan Service confirmations as received in Transportation e-mail/fax box and quality control check against the reservation for accuracy.  Appropriately log and track confirmation numbers as required on tracking documents.
  • Assist with sending monthly reporting for upcoming sedan services within next 60 days to contracted vendors.
  • Assist Transportation Specialist with the tracking and scanning of Certificates of Liability Insurance for all Transportation vendors.
  • Assist with preliminary audits and calculation of mileage for hometown transfer services.
  • Assist with matching confirmations with requests for hometown transfer services and/or logging confirmation numbers into operations system
  • Data enter results of Transportation Reports received from our tour managers rating quality and service of drivers and coaches and/or customer service letters.
  • Assist with sending cancellation of services notifications based on weekly Inventory report.
  • Some filing and organization of materials will be required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and neat work environment at all times.




Qualifications Collette is seeking in an internship applicant:



  • Ability to organize work and set priorities and achieve daily goals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and Internet Explorer, mapping programs such as Google Maps.
  • Ability to work as part of a Team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to make evaluative judgments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
