Computer Science Intern

New Vision Nutrition, LLC. Is looking for a URI Computer Science student to Intern for us this upcoming semester.  The student will be exposed to many facets of programming, including but not limited to front end development utilizing HTML, CSS and Javascript.  The student must be receiving college credits during this internship, and we will pay the student a stipend, (pre-negotiated) amount depending on experience and time commitment.  The student should meet the following criteria;

·      Ability to work Full-Time/ Part-Time in Hackensack, NJ

·      Optimistic personality

·      Good at working in a team environment, and alone

·      At least a Junior, in the college of Arts and Sciences

·      Strong desire to enter the marketing industry

·      Great attention to detail

·      Comfortable in fast-paced environment, and a self-starter attitude

·      Must have working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript

·      Experience with MySQL and PHP is an added benefit

Daily Activities

·      Working with the Chief Technology Officer ( CTO ) to design and implement website and backend changes

·      Utilizing ecommerce and programming tools, to analyze and improve user experience with the ability to have a direct and immediate impact on the brand

·      Create actionable steps with the director of marketing for the company to pursue

Marketing Intern

New Vision Nutrition, LLC. Is looking for a URI Marketing student to Intern for us this upcoming semester.  The student will be exposed to many facets of Marketing, including but not limited to social media campaigns, sponsorship campaigns, and marketing management software.  The student must be receiving college credits during this internship, and we will pay the student a stipend, (pre-negotiated) amount depending on experience and time commitment.  The student should meet the following criteria;

·       Ability to work Full-Time/ Part-Time in Hackensack, NJ

·       Optimistic personality

·       Good at working in a team environment, and alone

·       At least a Junior, in the college of Business

·       Strong desire to enter the marketing industry

·       Great attention to detail

·       Comfortable in fast-paced environment, and a self-starter attitude

Daily Activities

·       Working with the director of marketing to enhance our social media presence, and brand image

·       Utilizing social media management tools to interpret company conversion of marketing dollars to revenue

·       Create actionable steps with the director of marketing for the company to pursue

Financial Analyst Intern

New Vision Nutrition, LLC. Is looking for a URI Finance or Accounting student to Intern for us this upcoming semester.  The student must receive college credits during this internship, and we will pay the student a stipend, (pre-negotiated) amount depending on experience and time commitment.  This internship will exposed the student to many different elements of finance.  The student should meet the following criteria;

·       Ability to work Full-Time/ Part-Time in Hackensack, NJ

·       Optimistic personality

·       Good at working in a team environment, and alone

·       At least a junior, in the college of Business (Accounting or Finance concentration)

·       Strong desire to enter into a financial analyst type roll

·       Quick learner, great attention to detail

·       Comfortable in fast-paced environment, and a self-starter attitude

Daily Activities 

·       Work with the CFO on initiatives

·       Industry analysis

·       Help streamline implementation
