DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
REPORTS TO: Michelle Saunders
LOCATION: Corporate Office: 375 Commerce Park Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt


POSITION SUMMARY:
The Leadership & Organizational Development Intern is responsible for assisting the Leadership & Organizational Development team and will work closely with Michelle Saunders, James Asal, and Megan Staniszewski to accomplish the items listed below and other tasks of similar nature as applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
      Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems to learn everyday business operations
      Assists in the design of structure and content for OSJL’s new YOUniversity learning site
      Transforms a portion of existing materials into e-learning content to better understand micro-learning opportunities within an organization
      Consults on how learning and development can support the Employer of Choice Initiative
      Performs other related duties as required and assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
      Pursuing a degree in one of the following; Human Resources, Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
      Ability to work with the google platform; drive, slides, docs, sheets, sites
