FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ocean State Job Lot is a seeking a Full-time / Part-Time intern to work closely with the Business Analytics team to gather and validate data for business problems requiring digital data collection. The Intern will work with Business Intelligence resources to capture product data and turn the output into actionable KPIs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs)

·      Record product measurements and capture item images at designated OSJL retail stores.

·      Plan initial setup of data collection and organize measurement output within Google Spreadsheets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·      Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree

·      Prior experience and working knowledge of Google Spreadsheets a plus but not necessary

ATTRIBUTES:

·      Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

·      Ability to work under time constraints, self-motivated, and hardworking

·      Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail

*Use of personal vehicle to travel to stores is required.
