Position Overview: Associate Marketing Manager
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the product planning, category profitability and speed to market execution throughout the drapery hardware product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, global sourcing, sales, marketing and finance to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This position also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
·       Support the Senior Product Managers’ development and implementation of the drapery hardware brand strategy and product road maps.
·       Determines the market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
·       Support in the development of the marketing strategy for new and existing drapery hardware products
·       Create customer-specific pricing and trade programs closely collaborating with sales to ensure category profitability for existing and new business opportunities
·       Work closely with the company’s channel and sales teams; enabling them to meet their sales objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
·       Drive continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
·       Work closely with product management team to define and develop marketing materials and programs.
  • Develop analysis and profiles for key channels, retailers, competitors, and consumer groups in order to provide meaningful and timely insights to the marketing team. 
  • Develop and/or provide insights and support for major internal and external sales presentations, including updating planograms and merchandising for space maximization
  • Prepare for and participate in key retailer presentations.
  • Attend, participate and lead cross functional team meetings, including but not limited to weekly performance tracking meetings
·       Deliver KPI’s including volume, revenue, share, and profitability across both the domestic and international businesses




Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years of consumer product marketing experience within categories sold through retail channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Past experience within product development, customer segmentation, product positioning, sales management, advertising and promotion
  • Strong organizational, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills to ensure flawless execution quality and timing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with ability to both influence and motivate key cross-functional team members.
  • Excels within a fast-paced and unstructured environment where flexibility, resourcefulness, nimbleness, speed, and ability to manage ambiguity are highly valued.
  • Passionate, self-motivated, with ability to work independently without constant training and guidance.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) and PowerPoint.   
  • Minimal travel required (<15%)
