2016 Institute on Business & Government Affairs

The Fund for American Studies is currently accepting applications for the 2016 Institute on Business & Government Affairs in Washington, D.C. Please forward the announcement below to any students who may be interested in spending this summer in Washington, DC. Beta Gamma Sigma students are encouraged to apply!

Sponsored by The Fund for American Studies in partnership with George Mason University, the program is an eight week summer academic intern program that offers undergraduate students a first-hand look at the intersection of business and public policy through:
•          A guaranteed internship at a corporation or trade association
•          Courses for credit in business economics and public policy
•          Exclusive lectures, briefings and professional development seminars
•          Housing in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Our goal is to help students close the gap between theory and practice and develop the skills to work on today’s most pressing policy issues. Building on what you have taught them in the classroom, we are committed to providing an educational experience that will prepare your students for successful and meaningful careers in business or government affairs.

Students should apply by March 16th for admission and scholarship consideration. Visit www.DCinternships.org/IBGA for more information on admission and program requirements.
