Teufelberger Fiber Rope Corp. is an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer of high quality specialty cordage products with over 220 years of history. We manufacture and distribute custom rope products to industries servicing marine, recreational climbing, industrial, safety & rescue, and entertainment markets. We are based in Fall River, MA; and employ 170+ associates to support our operations. We are a subsidiary to our parent company, Teufelberger, located in Wels, Austria.

We are seeking a candidate to assist in the
sales and marketing efforts necessary to secure and manage business opportunities within our various market segments.  This is an entry-level position which will provide a strong development opportunity towards an accelerated career path towards a Market Manager or Business Unit Manager position in the future.  This position reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Prerequisite experience includes a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a sales account management role within a company manufacturing and/or distributing industrial products. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field required - Engineering preferred, 

Primary/Essential Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation of marketing plans for various markets
  2. Assist in the development of sales forecasts
  3. Fulfill appropriate customer and prospect contact and communications (phone, on site, and trade shows)
  4. Select, guide and coach sales representatives as necessary
  5. Ensure that sales reps have appropriate product knowledge
  6. Work with the Marketing Communications Specialist to develop and carry-out account management communication strategies
  7. Monitor replenishment process
  8. Prepare product pricing analysis
  9. Responsible for trade shows, tent sales and promos as needed
  10. Visit key stores/customers when necessary
  11. Resolve any account issues
  12. Arrange training as needed
  13. Strategize with category manager
  14. Evaluate profitability by product line and recommend additions and deletions.
  15. Other duties as required or assigned by the VP of Sales and Marketing.
