About IYRS: IYRS provides experiential education, preparing students to enter a global maker and manufacturing workforce. IYRS teaches the art and science of making, building, restoring and maintaining, and in the process, helps its graduates build both careers and more meaningful lives – inspired by the knowledge that in their hands and through the use of technology, they have the power to build almost anything.

Description: The Career Services Intern will support the Director of Experiential Education & Career Services with logistical and coordination assistance for a variety of student-focused projects and other tasks as assigned.  The primary tasks will be associated with the coordination of student externships and tracking students when they transition into part-time employment.   This position supports students in all four full-time IYRS programs. This paid internship is a part-time position open immediately.

Preferred qualifications:
·      Currently enrolled in a related program such as a counseling or higher education administration
·      Demonstrated success working with and/or advocating for students
·      Experience working with a diverse population (this role supports people aged 18 years-old to retirement and with education levels from GED to Ph.D)
·      Ability to work autonomously as appropriate
