JOB SUMMARY
The Tax Department is currently seeking rising Juniors [DL1]
who are interested in learning about and possibly pursuing a career in Tax to
join our year-round Tax Department Intern Rotational Program. Our rotational program interns will work in
all aspects of income taxes from compliance and reporting to research and audit
defense. The program cycles our interns
through domestic and US/Non US international compliance and reporting, transfer
pricing, audit defense, and research.
The internship requires 15-20 hours per week during the school year and
full-time during vacation periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES (may include, but not limited to)
As
a tax department intern, you will gain experience within the following areas:
Compliance
Working with tax professionals
to understand and complete basic state and local income tax returns; estimated
state income tax payments; supporting the Federal income tax return; and
learning tax software.
Reporting and Cash Tax
Forecasting
Supporting
the tax reporting team during monthly and quarterly income tax forecasting and
monthly cash tax forecasting.
Transfer
Pricing
Assist the transfer
pricing team on business unit specific projects focused on implementing appropriate
intercompany pricing for products and services.
Research
Engage
in income tax research as guided by our tax attorneys and/or our tax professionals
and drafting memos
in support of research.
Audit Defense
Provide
audit defense support by assisting with the drafting of responses to IRS
information requests and/or state income tax notices.
