Standard Chartered Bank International Graduate Program and Internship Programs

IG Program Requirements and Highlights

·         Must be graduating by June 2016 (No summer grads) undergrad and also MBA studies

·         Can apply any country that they have legal right to work in (bank can’t offer sponsorship for this program)

o    May only submit 1 application per year, globally

·         Must pass entrance exam to qualify (Numerical and abstract reasoning/logic) – I always suggest using a desktop in the library to ensure no technical issues during the exam

·         Bank will pay for first attempt at CFA Level I (Will be promoted after the 1 year IG program if they pass)

·         Will spend 5 weeks in Shanghai for induction and training in October (Additional training in Singapore depending on their assigned business)

·         3 Lines of Business offered in New York; Transaction Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Financial Markets (Detail on each business segment attached)

Internship

·         Generally same requirements as above

·         Undergrad Juniors

·         2 month internship
