NESTLE - Finance Internship, Summer 2016

Are you a high-potential student seeking a challenging Internship in a fast-moving Consumer Packaged Goods Company? If yes, then Nestle Waters has an exciting opportunity for you as aFinance Internin Stamford, CT. This internship will run for 10 consecutive weeks, fromJune 6, 2016toAugust 12, 2016.
Role Our internships consist of hands-on learning through an assigned project, designed to provide you with direct experience for this role at the world s leading bottled water company. As an intern, you will make an impact on the business as wells as continue to build your presentation skills, and analytical and leadership abilities. Some of the exciting projects our former Finance/Accounting Interns have worked on have included:
  • Balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Rebuilding supply chain costing template, and performing monthly factory bottle volume report 
  • Developing a streamlined process to be rolled out to the organization for Trade Promotion optimization to improve ROI in Hi-Lo events 
  • Improving ETE reporting visibility to understand true economics of ETE profitability for NWNA brands, and to show NWNA s overall revenue and profit contribution to NW Group relative to other markets. The project will include improving visualization of financial data through the use of charts/graphs that provide useful analysis and insight.
The learning experience is further enriched through social and professional networking opportunities, which include interaction with senior management and other team members across divisions. Internship activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Volunteer opportunities 
  • Weekly Presentation skills sessions 
  • Team-building activity with fellow interns and leadership 
  • Visit and Tour one of our Supply Chain Factory Locations 
  • Lunch and Learn sessions, covering topics such as Finance 101, Resume Writing, and Mock Interviewing 
  • At the conclusion of the summer, all interns present their projects and internship experience to their peers and key business leaders.
All Nestle Waters internships are considered short-term employment for a defined period of 10 weeks. However, depending on satisfactory performance and business needs, internships may be extended or candidates may be considered for full-time positions upon graduation. Qualifications We are seeking candidates that meet the following qualifications:
  • A rising junior or senior, working toward a Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business, or a related field of study. 
  • In good academic standing, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. 
  • Able to work 40 hours per week for 10 consecutive weeks between June 6, 2016 and August 12, 2016. NOTE:This position does not provide housing, relocation, or sponsorship for employment status (e.g. H-1B visa status).
