Marketing Research Internship - IYRS

Market Research Project
Experiential Learning School

IYRS provides world-class experiential education, preparing students to enter a global manufacturing workforce. IYRS teaches the art and science of making, building, restoring and maintaining, and in the process, helps its graduates build both careers and more meaningful lives – inspired by the knowledge that in their hands and through the use of technology, they have the power to build almost anything.

We are in the process of introducing new programs that require substantial market research into the emerging needs of manufacturers associated with 21st century manufacturing.  These markets span many sectors of the economy, including automotive, aerospace, aviation, transportation, infrastructure, and general building – both commercial and residential.   In essence, the world is moving toward the use of digital technologies and composite materials to make almost anything.  Consequently, job skills are changing rapidly.  We are hiring a paid intern to help gather data about these trends and markets.  Pay based in part on experience with comparable projects.

The intern should be a business or MBA major with interest in market research and knowledge of how to structure and execute on research projects.  This is an immediate opportunity.  We expect a commitment of about 10 – 15 hours per week and a regular presence at IYRS – a entrepreneurial environment comprised of thinkers and doers engaged in a disruptor opportunity to change education.  To learn more about the school, go to www.iyrs.edu.  Inquiries, letters or a resume should be sent to Terry Nathan at tnathan@iyrs.edu.  No calls please.
