URI Summer Session - Marketing Intern(s)

Position Description:
The URI Summer Sessions Marketing Intern(s) will assist the URI Summer Sessions Coordinator and URI Summer Sessions Marketing Coordinator in all facets of marketing URI Summer Sessions courses to students.  The person hired into this position will start in conjunction with the beginning of URI Summer Sessions course registration and work through the conclusion of the 2015 Spring semester.

The ideal candidate for this position will be:
- willing to start right away
- able to spend 5-10 hours a week at various locations on the URI Kingston campus talking with peers about all aspects of URI Summer Sessions.
- assist in creating and implementing social media strategies to promote and increase the visibility of the URI Summer Sessions.
- Able to perform some administrative tasks (answering phones, responding to emails, etc.) related to the URI Summer Sessions.

Qualifications:
- URI Student
- Cannot be employed by another URI department for more than 10 hours per week
- Must be a self-motivated student and comfortable engaging fellow students on campus
- Must have experience using social media
- Experience designing signage is a preferred, but not required, qualification.
