South County Hospital - Human Resources Intern

Job Title : HR Intern

Salary - college credit

Work Schedule - part time

Hours per week - days

Description - Under the direction of members of the Human Resources Team works on various projects from Staff Development to Benefit and Wellness, assists in the recruitment process, and learns about the essential functions of the Human Resources Department, state and federal labor and employment laws and the Hospital’s policies.

Qualifications - Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program majoring in Human Resources, Labor Relations or Business; completion of one Human Resources Class or a combination of Business classes. Computer literacy required. Strong organizational and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills along with commitment to customer service, collaborative teamwork and quality also required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
