White Horse Vapor - Accounting/Finance Internship
White Horse Vapor is a nationally-franchised vapor company with 14 locations. They pride themselves on being a vape advocate due to the health benefits, and on helping people quit smoking.
They are currently looking for an accounting/finance intern for sorting, reporting, and graphing data with Excel. Applicants should have advanced skills in Excel with ability to run reports and convert data into graphs.

Internship Info:
Responsible for assisting members of the Controller’s department, in both daily activities
and special projects to learn, understand and gain experience related to compensation &
benefits, pensions/ health & welfare, and/or US government accounting & compliance.
Position is year-round, part-time (up to 25 hours) during school semesters (flexible schedule) and full-time (up to 40 hours) during breaks. Possibility for occasional weekend work or overtime on an infrequent basis.

Candidate will also be exposed to general ledger activity, pensions/health & welfare, compensation & benefits, government accounting, and some SEC reporting based upon the relevant group (Benefits or Government).

Hasbro - Internal Audit Intern
Objectives:
Under the direct supervision of in-charge Senior and Internal Auditors, the Internal Audit Intern provides essential assistance during internal audit activities, contributing to the completion of specific tasks within the overall scope of the audit project.
Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to the Director of Internal Audit. During the course of audit engagements, the Internal Audit Intern will generally work under the direction and supervision of a Senior Internal Auditor or Audit Management.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in performance of work on assigned segments of the audit.
2. Assist in determining records or activities to analyze, the extent of tests to apply and the working papers to prepare.
3. Assist performing the audit in a professional manner in accordance with the approved audit program.
4. Assist in obtaining, analyzing and evaluating evidentiary data as a basis for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control system(s) and on the performance efficiency of the activities being reviewed.
5. Review transactions, documents, records, reports and methods for accuracy and effectiveness.
6. Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment.
7. Participate in preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies with operating personnel to verify facts and to obtain explanations of such deficiencies as necessary.
8. Assist in developing solutions for routine technical issues arising during the performance of the audit project.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Must have completed junior year of college with concentration in Accounting.

Internship Duties:
- Assist the billing department in the preparation of T&M billings.
- Perform job reconciliations for large T&M billing jobs.
- Prepare & monitor lien releases for subcontractor payments
- Help in the implementation of a new full scale Accounting System going live 1/1/14
- Special projects as needed
- General office duties – copying, filing, etc.
